About Detention Officer

　　Detention officer duties include but are not limited to direct care and supervision of inmates in the County Jail: Admitting & Booking inmates to the facility. Assures all jail procedures are followed. Monitors the security and safety of inmates: Escorts inmates as necessary to court and physician visits. Maintains routine daily records and report of inmate activities. Schedule is 12 hour shifts with 24/7 coverage Great Benefit package, Vacation, Sick, Personal Day, Health Vision and Dental Insurance. 20 year Retirement - uniform allowance after a year of service.
