JOB REQUIREMENTS: Manitowoc County is seeking an individual to fill aDesktop Support Technician position. This position installs, supportsand maintains desktop systems, software, and peripheral devices. Thisposition will: Install, configure and assemble desktop systems andequipment. Provide consultation, assistance, and support for desktop/endsystem users. Troubleshoot problems. Provide recommendations for desktopsystem changes and upgrades to the Information Systems Manager. Workwith vendors on problem resolution. Create and maintains documentationrelated to desktop systems in compliance with Department policy. Assignuser and file security rights and permissions.
