14 temporary, full-time Servers from 4/1/24 to 12/31/24. No minimum education or experience required. On the job training provided.
To serve/deliver food and beverage products to guests. Assist with opening/closing of restaurant/food and beverage area; setup/clean/tear down work station; prepare sidework; take guest order, advise kitchen personnel of items ordered, serve/deliver requested items and clear table/remove trays. Move, carry, set up tables, chairs & equipment. Stand & bend repetitively during shift. Carry food service tray. Deliver food & beverage, clean & set tables, remove dishes, replace soiled table linens; replenish linens, silverware, glassware & dishes; supply service bar with food; serve items such as water, coffee & condiments.
Post-injury or incident drug testing, or grounds for suspicion drug testing required, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, US and foreign/H2B. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work a 5 day schedule, including weekends and holidays as required. Applicant must complete an employment application.
Employer will offer 40 hours a week. Open 7 days a week. Multiple shifts between 6:00am-12:00am. Shift times: 6:00am-2:30pm; 1:00pm-9:30pm; & 3:30pm-12:00am with 30 minute unpaid meal break. Hours and shifts may vary with occupancy.
Tip position with guaranteed wage of $14.64/hr. Allowed tip credit applied per FLSA guidelines to meet offered wage. Employer guarantees offered wage for hours worked if allowed tip credit does not make hourly wage equal to or exceed $14.64 /hr. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $21.96 per hour based on locality the work is performed and the base rate of pay offered per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Pay received bi-weekly.
Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law and deduct approved cost of housing if worker elects. Optional employee only dormitory style shared housing, approximate cost $60-$80 per week, including utilities, plus $200 refundable deposit. If worker elects employer housing; then 3 meals per day will be provided at no charge to the worker.
Employer will provide worker at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform job. Required uniform provided. 1 Meal will be provided at no charge to the worker during scheduled shift. Daily transportation provided between employer housing and worksite at no cost to the worker.
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
If worker completes half the employment period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the employment period or where the worker is dismissed early, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59 per day with receipts. All transportation costs are to be preapproved. If necessary, employer will reimburse worker within first pay period for approved cost of meals and lodging at the applicable exchange rate, not to exceed reasonable costs. Receipts must be submitted.
