Description
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team and provide exceptional technical assistance to our internal users. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Office 365, Windows OS, hardware troubleshooting, Azure Active Directory, imaging, Exchange, and have a passion for delivering top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to desktops, laptops, software, and hardware.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Office 365 applications and services.
Manage Windows OS installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting for end-users.
Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Administer Azure Active Directory, including user management, group policies, and access controls.
Manage imaging and deployment of desktops/laptops using standardized protocols.
Support Exchange services, including mailbox configuration and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with other IT teams for escalated issues and system enhancements.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and software/licenses.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with end-users.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
Proficiency in Office 365 administration, including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 7/10/11) and troubleshooting methodologies.
Expertise in hardware troubleshooting and repairs for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory user management and group policies.
Familiarity with imaging tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT) for deployment and management.
Experience with Exchange administration, mailbox configuration, and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
