  About the PositionIn anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, applications are accepted continuously for temporary non-tenure track faculty positions on a part-time basis with occasional opportunities for temporary, full-time appointments. Positions may become available at any time and are typically filled on a quarterly basis.

  Academic Emphasis: Design

  Position Responsibilities:

  Instruction in various courses assigned by Department Chair.

  Required Qualifications

  BA, BFA or equivalent experience in the Design field

  Ability to teach courses in any of the following disciplines: fundamentals of graphic design, branding and design strategy, typography, drawing for design, motion design, packaging design, three-dimensional graphic design, web design, visual design, interactive design, user experience, illustration, design history, book arts, design production or publication design.

  Demonstrated excellent communication skills and professionalism

  Commitment to working with diverse students and staff, including cultivating learning environments that are equitable and inclusive of students with diverse social identities and backgrounds

  Preferred Qualifications

  Successful teaching experience

  MFA in Design

  Extensive industry experience

  $1,200-$1,500 per Credit, Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
