The Deputy Director for Children and Family Services (CFS) will workunder the direction of the Director of CFS to provide strategicleadership and ensure the quality of social services provided tounaccompanied children and unaccompanied refugee minors. Reporting tothe Director for CFS, the Deputy Director supports all aspects of theCFS Family Reunification team. This is a position that requiressenior-level leadership; the ability to manage a large and diverse team;a high degree of flexibility; excellent problem-solving skills; andin-depth knowledge of child welfare best practices for migrant andrefugee children and families. This position can be remote withoccasional trips to Baltimore as needed.

DUTIES
Support the vision and priorities of the director and leadership team
Lead, manage, and support the various programs according to fundingagreements/ terms and conditions, and in accordance with Global Refugestandards and expectations.
Ensure that programs are developing and implementing ongoing qualityimprovement measures, including monitoring activities where applicable,in order to deliver program outcomes that meet and exceed both therequirements of grants/ regulating bodies and identified internalbenchmarks.
Review and provide feedback on reports to funders and grant proposalsubmissions
Provide oversight and coordination of all program monitoring reports.
Review and edit quarterly/semi-annual program reports and supportsubmissions.
Monitor and manage relevant budgetary functions in collaboration withthe Director; consult with related program staff to ensure adequateresources for the develop ent, implementation, & evaluation of programs.Assist in preparing annual budgets.
Continually engage partner agencies, through conference calls and sitevisits, to maintain strong working relationships and evaluate partnerand community needs as well as capacity.
Maintain close working relationships across Global Refuge to ensureeffective communication of major Unit-wide developments, trends,activities, and challenges/ opportunities.
Provide advocacy, both internally and externally, to support the needsof internal staff, affiliate partners, and/ or programmaticrequirements, as needed.
Actively work to develop a cohesive team and establish a supportive andproductive work environment.
Meet with federal partners, program affiliate partners, and otherrelated stakeholders in person or via conference calls to discussissues, share best practices, and collaborate on identifying solutionsto challenges related to the long-term integration of newcomers.

QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate degree in Social Work or a related field.
Minimum of six (6) years of work experience in immigration, and socialservices programs with at least four (4) years of progressivelyresponsible experience managing multiple programs, staff, and projectand budget administration.
