Olsten Staffing is assisting a well-established company in the Florence SC area in the search for an experienced and eager Yard Jockey . This company is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to all customers. The Yard Jockey must be reliable and skilled! As a Yard Jockey you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the facility.

　　Monday-Friday

　　7AM-3:30PM

　　Pay rate:

　　$18 an hour

　　Job Duties:

　　• Safely maneuver trailers within the yard using a yard truck.

　　• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to prioritize and expedite the movement of trailers.

　　• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on yard equipment.

　　• Communicate effectively with truck drivers and warehouse staff to ensure seamless operations.

　　• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

　　• Keep accurate records of trailer movements and maintenance activities.

　　• Other duties as assigned

　　Qualifications:

　　• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.

　　• Proven experience as a Yard Jockey or in a similar role.

　　• Knowledge of yard operations, safety procedures, and basic equipment maintenance.

　　Strong communication and organizational skills.

　　Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
