Summary The incumbent of the position serves as the Deputy Associate Director for Enterprise Enablement, Retirement Services (RS) leading the internal management and administration functions of Retirement Services, to ensure that the organization has the requisite human, financial, physical resources needed to deliver on mission and represents the Associate Director in support of the administration's policies and programs. Responsibilities As a Deputy Associate Director for Enterprise Enablement, you will be part of Retirement Services (RS). If selected, you will be responsible for: Leading enabling RS operations including - budget formulation, execution, and reporting, human resources, procurement, space management and inspires back-office support personnel to provide the best internal services to RS case management operations and customer service; Providing RS executive management with critical performance metrics e.g., operational and outcome measures for key performance drivers, relevant benchmarks, and executive/ management reporting; Championing and implementing Retirement Services organizational transformation recommendations and aligns mission supporting functions to achieve identified improvement areas, RS customer experience strategy and recommendations to improve the quality of services provided within the RS program; Managing mailroom processes to enable critical case and customer related mail and packages arriving to their destinations in a timely manner; Implementing and overseeing RS's communications strategy and functions to ensure consistent internal and external messaging and leading RS' external outreach to customers and stakeholders; Managing the Retirement policy office and the organizational procedure and training for RS employees and the Federal benefits community across agencies; Partnering with the OCIO to provide direction and support for RS's information systems and oversees subordinate staff working on RS system deployments, operations and maintenance; and Developing and executing consistent, comprehensive training program that facilitates knowledge transfer and retention using best-in class methods and approaches. This is not a remote position, selectee will be required to report to the duty station on a regular basis. Telework may be authorized. TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION (TQ): Demonstrated senior level experience leading and managing at least three comprehensive administrative programs for a large organization. These administrative programs include contracts management, workforce/human resources management, budget/financial management, IT management, and/or facilities management.
