DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe Deputy Administrator 3 is an administrative position within the Area Agency on Aging which is responsible for assisting the Administrator 3 in directing a large social service program within Luzerne and Wyoming counties. In this role, you will assist the Administrator 3 in the development and implementation of agency policies and procedures. You will assist in planning, developing, and implementing a comprehensive annual plan and budget to achieve the agency goals and objectives. You will also monitor and direct contracted services to ensure program effectiveness and conformance with federal, state, and local regulations and policies. Other key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, planning, reviewing, and evaluating the performance of program supervisors and administrative staff, as well as attending PA Department of Aging meeting and trainings.
