  DESCRIPTION OF WORKAn intern in this position, you will gain experience in conducting inspections at single resident sewage treatment plants, collect samples to assist in evaluation of operating efficiency and water quality, and review case files to evaluate sewage treatment plant performance. You will also assist in conducting inspections of single resident sewage treatment plants, prepare technical reports based on results and data submitted by dischargers, conduct stream surveys, monitor water quality network stations, investigate pollution complaints, and conduct a variety of field tests.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time internship from 5/1/2024 to 8/30/2024.Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.   QUALIFICATIONSInternship Requirements:Current full-time enrollment in a bachelor's degree or advanced degree program in one of the following majors:Environmental ScienceBiologyEcologyFreshman year completedGood academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher)Pennsylvania residency or enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or university

  Additional Requirements:This position requires possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver's license.You must be able to perform essential job functions.
