　　Overview

　　Provides assistance to the dentist in direct patient care activities, maintains a clean working environment, sterilizes instruments and manages dental supplies and materials needed in the day to day operations of the dental clinic and in the operating room.

　　Responsibilities

　　Provides chair-side dental assistance.

　　Performs prophylaxis and fluoride treatments on patients.

　　Provides dental assistance in the Operating Room.

　　Takes dental radiographs.

　　Maintains mailing and filing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels; requisitioning supplies.

　　Qualifications

　　HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years experience Or graduated from a Dental Assistant program.Starting Pay

　　Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $17.91/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

　　Remote Work/Work from Home

　　This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
