We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef to support our day to day kitchen operations. As a Demi Chef, you are responsible to take care of the daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet the set standard and qualities.

　　What we need from you:

　　1-2 years of related experience including at least 1 year in the same role

　　Strong background in HACCP procedures and application

　　Good practical, operational, and adequate administrative skills.

　　A true “team player” mentality and flexible attitude toward a diverse set of tasks

　　Excellent communication skills

　　Valid New Zealand Working Rights

　　Tasks & responsibilities

　　Organize what needs to be prepared as the daily mise-en-place and food production in different sections of the main and hot kitchen.

　　Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef or Executive Chef

　　Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.

　　Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.

　　Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.

　　Consult and check on daily requirements, functions, and last-minute events and liaise with the team accordingly.

　　Work closely with other team members on a daily basis to enhance team motivation and operational efficiency
