　　Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Deli Cashier to join our team at Desert View in Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. As a Deli Cashier, you will act in a dual role to accurately prepare food and ring up products in an efficient manner.

　　Responsibilities

　　Greet guests and provide menu details while using suggestive selling techniques.

　　Prep and serve food and beverage items in correct proportions following all safety, sanitation and storage guidelines.

　　Participate in set-up, opening & closing procedures, including inventory and reporting.

　　Clean and consistently maintain the quality appearance of the work area and equipment.

　　Properly record and account for all transactions via POS and cash and credit handling.

　　Maintain accurate cash count in bank and balance at end of each shift.

　　Perform other duties as assigned.

　　Qualifications

　　Must enjoy working with people and preparing food.

　　Dual role in food service and cash handling experience helpful.

　　Ability to provide excellent guest service with friendly and effective communication skills.

　　Must read prep sheets to accurately prepare food while using safe handling requirements.

　　Should have good basic math skills to accurately account for cash and inventory.

　　Will work individually and as a team in a fast-paced environment.

　　Physical Requirements

　　Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.

　　Will stand for the entire length of shift with frequent walking, bending, stooping, carrying, grasping and reaching.

　　Manual and physical dexterity to grasp items, operate cash register and safely use kitchen equipment.

　　Exposure to kitchen environment temperatures with possible cuts, scrapes, burns, scalds, etc.

　　Will use chemicals to clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
