Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for the Firm supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of the Firm's software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications.

Position Description:
Asset Management Governance Lead IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Enterprise Asset Disposal (EAD) are global teams within Morgan Stanley's Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) division responsible for key aspects of the Firm's technology lifecycle needs, including the governance framework for oversight and documentation of IT assets. We are looking for a Governance Lead to help execute against this portfolio of work which engages a broad group of internal stakeholders in a dynamic and high risk environment. In addition to the coordination of overall governance efforts, this role will also be responsible for scheduling meetings, maintaining charter and membership compliance, documenting meeting minutes, enforcing reporting requirements, and following-up among multiple constituents and subject matter experts that interact with the committee in addition to ETS and other business unit leadership.
Specific responsibilities:
• Management and coordination of informal and formal committee meetings including scheduling, agenda setting, tracking follow-ups, and capturing meeting minutes
• Ensure committee reporting and documentation requirements are met, follow-up on outstanding actions, and manage centralized mailbox for incoming committee requests
• Produce meeting materials or work with presenters to create and validate presentation materials
• Act as primary liaison between the committee and key stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Produce accurate and concise materials for risk assessment and evaluation purposes by internal and external parties; assist on development of presentations where senior management is the main audience
• Meet with SMEs to ensure that specialized topics are correctly addressed, discussed and documented and investigate any issues; ability to present subject matters at both a broad and detailed level
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills:
• 8+ years of experience in Program management or governance leadership experience with proven track record of success
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of experience managing large or complex programs (within the last eight years)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus within dynamic teams, including technical specialists
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English)
• High level of attention to detail and ability to present complex material in a succinct and concise way
• Demonstrate good time management, ability to prioritize tasks and to meet deadlines across multiple deliverables
• Experience in providing updates to multiple levels of stakeholders in a clear, concise and transparent fashion
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; Jira and/or SharePoint experience preferred but not required
• Strong team player with a high level of commitment; eager to learn new technologies to better support the role
Nice to Have:
• Experience within the financial services or similarly regulated industry, as well as a solid technical understanding and background of delivery across infrastructure technologies.
• Understanding of technology infrastructure (compute, storage, database, network, data centers, security, etc.), IT service management, and delivering major change programs in an infrastructure context
• Ideally within the financial services sector, or other highly regulated sector
