What You'll Bring:
5+ years of experience performing analytic/scientific software development2+ years of demonstrated success in client-facing or in complex practice leadership rolesHands-on expertise in predictive modeling, statistical inference, machine learning, and other advanced analytical techniquesAdvanced programming skills; R or Python and SQL, C/C++, Java, or ScalaAn effective time and project manager, able to balance a highly variable workload in a fast-paced environmentMaster's or PhD degree in statistics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, engineering, operations research, computer science or another highly quantitative fieldThis is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a weekWe'd Love to See:People management experienceInsurance industry experienceExperience with modern "big data" frameworks (Hadoop, Spark)Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environmentsImpact You'll Make:
As a member of the Global Operations Data Science & Analytics (DSA) management team, you'll lead junior and experienced analytic professionals in the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions and products for both external and internal customers.Train and development analysts through goal setting and performance managementOversee business functions (revenue planning, budgeting, capacity planning, resource allocation, project management, work measurement, management reporting, and M&A support)Participate in the development of operating policies and procedures to promote operational excellence across DSABenefits:
