Under the direction of theresearch principal investigator and Research Regulatory Specialist Sr.,the Research Data Quality Specialist works collaboratively to supporthematology, oncology, bone marrow transplant, and cellular therapyclinical trials for pediatric patients. In this role you willcollaborate with the research team to ensure compliance with studyprotocol guidelines and adherence to federal, state, and institutionalstandard operating procedures. Purpose Member of the CTO Regulatory teamresponsible for assisting with the development of a quality assuranceprogram that ensures compliance with Federal, State and InstitutionalStandard Operating Procedures. The CTO Research Regulatory DataSpecialist will function as a liaison with sponsors, principalinvestigators, study team members and the IRB providing support tofacilitate the achievement of the CTO\'s goals. The Research RegulatoryData Specialist works with clinical research teams to ensure that dataquality is compliant with local and federal regulations as well as allsponsor requirements. Primary Functions Provides main administrativesupport for planning and performing quality control activities to assessrisk and ensure adherence to institutional policies and procedures,local and federal regulations (i.e., OHRP, FDA, etc.) and Good ClinicalPractices (ICH-GCP). Review documentation for accuracy and completeness,identify problems, and perform quality control based on establishedchecklists prior to IRB submission. Support faculty withInvestigator-Initiated IND/IDE applications through data monitoringactivities. Work closely with CTO Research Managers, Research Nurses,and Research Coordinators to identify any educational trainings andresources driven by monitoring and audit findings (e.g. forms andchecklists, educational training, etc.).
