Duration: ContractShift Timing: 8 am-4:30 pm (Flexible)Job Description:Assist with the development and implementation of an effective organization-wide Infection Prevention and Control/Employee Health Program.Conducts surveillance and research activities designed to improve organizational performance in the areas of infection prevention and control and occupational health.Serves as liaison to other government and community organizations.Prepares epidemiological studies with statistical analysis involving infectious diseases, employee health, hospital programs, and system effectiveness. Utilizes data in conjunction with performance improvement to improve patient outcomes.Investigate infectious disease issues and manage outbreaks and/or exposures in the hospital.Develops, reviews, and revises hospital policies/procedures and programs.Manages critical data and information including paper and electronic databases. Communicates data analysis effectively to the Infection Control Committee, hospital organization, and external agencies.Coordinates and implements recommendations of the Infection Prevention and Control Committee.Assesses Educational needs of both patient and employee populations, develops appropriate curriculum; determines educational strategies and provides instruction to meet the needs of those needs in the areas of Infection Prevention and Control.Required Qualification:Valid Washington State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.Graduation from an accredited school or professional nursing and two years of professional nursing experience.Preference is given to the applicant with three years of professional experience.About our Company: -22nd Century Technologies, Inc., is one of the fastest growing IT Service Integrator and Workforce Solution companies in the United States.
