This position focuses on executing onboarding, updates, and maintenance of all SAP Vendor Master Data for the University’s 35,000+ active vendor records. This includes management of all vendor onboarding through a third-party partner and all aspects of managing the SAP Vendor Master Data repository. In addition to other duties, this position focuses significantly on the proper onboarding and maintenance of SAP Materials Master Data. It is responsible for all UK HealthCare and UK Supply Center master data including entry, maintenance, and overall management of all SAP Materials Master Data serving various campus, healthcare, and facilities inventory locations for 80,000+ active material items. This position will be responsible for ongoing regular and strategic review and optimization of all elements of the SAP Master Data among materials, info records, SAP contracts, and vendor master data ensuring synchronization across all objects. Responsible for optimization, automation, and application of strategic objectives as it relates to SAP Vendor Master Data and SAP Materials Master Data. The successful candidate is responsible for identifying and placing into regular practice opportunities to maximize return from management of the materials master data. They will also advance initiatives to maximize process optimization between the SAP Materials Master Data and the SAP Vendor Master Data. The successful candidate will manage optimization opportunities as it relates to external systems such as Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) and will contribute significantly to planned transitions for SAP Vendor Master Data and SAP Materials Master data to advanced platforms and landscapes associated with the University’s SAP roadmap. Provide support to other Procurement Automation special projects and initiatives as well as various ancillary procurement tasks including website support, IT desktop support, e-procurement, reporting, document template management, etc. This position focuses heavily on campus customer support and progression of technology as it relates to Procurement Services. The person within this position must understand procurement-related processes and procurement-based technology projects. The position also requires responsible knowledge and proper handling of University confidential data and information. Off-site work may be required with supervisor approval. Other duties as assigned.
