　　We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Manager to join a fast-moving, regulated FinTech based in Ireland. This individual will execute the Data Governance strategy in Europe, reporting directly to the CIO of Payments in Europe. The role will be responsible for establishing an effective and efficient data operation, including day to day management and oversight of in-house and outsourced data services.

　　This individual must have previous experience designing and implementing data strategies and governance frameworks ideally to regulated standards.

　　The successful candidate will also have the ability to communicate well, motivate and lead cross-functional and individual contributor teams independently, participate in coordinating responses and leading a variety of disciplines in support of critical business, go to market, and operational needs.

　　As a senior manager, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with a variety of teams within the business, including DPO, product, technology, risk, compliance. You will be able to leverage your data governance expertise to accelerate the data management and compliance capabilities within the business to centre of excellence standard.

　　Key responsibilities:

　　- Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of an enterprise data strategy and governance framework for a regulated entity

　　- Responsibilities include governing data management practices, policies, and standards both at a technical and functional level, incorporating security, quality and stewardship

　　- Management of data governance operating model and adherence to enterprise data governance framework for end-to-end data life-cycle management (Collection, Storage, Processing, Use, Transfers, Access, Retention, Deletion)

　　- Responsible for data related risk management in adherence with the enterprise risk management framework

　　- Ensure that data is secure and compliant with European regulation, industry standards and privacy law e.g. ISMS, GDPR & PCI DSS Compliance, DORA.

　　- Management of intragroup and third-party outsourcing relationships within EBA guidelines and CBI Guidances (ensuring appropriate due diligence, SLAs and risk assessments are completed and outsourcing registers are maintained

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Qualification

　　- 5-7 years experience working and leading data governance teams, ideally 2-3 years experience in a regulated banking or payments company

　　- Strong understanding of Data Architecture, Data Protection & Security, and Outsourcing and Vendor Management supported by certifications e.g., CGEIT, CDMP, CIMP

　　- Ability to manage data risk within an enterprise risk management framework

　　- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong leadership and people management skills

　　- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), ability to influence without authority

　　- Works well under pressure within time/budget constraints to solve problems, adjust quickly to shifting priorities, and make decisions with limited information

　　- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, in particular contributing to global and cross-functional teams

　　- Highly motivated to contribute and grow within a complex area of emerging importance

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　- In-depth experience managing complex Enterprise Data Governance & Compliance requirements in a bank, FinTech or payment related industry

　　- Experience in deploying and managing standard certification frameworks
