　　A Day in the life

　　A day in the life of an Estimator is a multifaceted one as it is your job to ensure the precision and efficiency of our project estimating processes. You will be responsible for establishing the bill of material from Planswift/Pipeline estimating software, collaborating with Architecture and Purchasing teams to meet division open-for-sale schedules, and fostering a synchronized workflow. Your day may begin with reviewing field work orders and conducting field audits to validate material usage, guaranteeing accuracy in estimates. You will prepare estimates by gathering architectural plans, presenting them using specialized software, and maintaining databases for takeoffs. Some days you will work collaboratively with trade partners, vendors, and various teams to reconcile discrepancies and control costs all in a hybrid work setting.

Being able to thrive in a high-volume environment efficiently and step in where needed while communicating clearly and building strong internal and external relationships is imperative to the success of this role.

　　Must Haves

　　Knowledge of MS Office with Intermediate Proficiency in Excel

　　Mastery in Planswift / AutoCAD

　　Excited to collaborate in a team environment

　　Exudes active listening, confidence, and respect when communicating with others

　　A college degree

　　Experience in residential homebuilding production or purchasing
