Job Summary
The Assistant Director, Donor Relations conducts a variety of essentialtasks as part of the Donor Relations Team in the Office of Advancementat Chicago Booth. Reporting to the Director, Donor Relations, theAssistant Director is a critical source of support for the team and willmanage or assist with several projects critical to a successfulstewardship program.
Responsibilities
Manages the donor relations portion of the gift acknowledgementprocess, working collaboratively with the dean\'s communicationsmanager and Office of Advancement colleagues to complete theprocess.Works with the Gift Compliance team and Office of Advancementcolleagues, to manage Booth\'s pledge reminder process, includingthe auditing of reminder letters for accuracy and serving as thedepartment\'s main point of contact for donor questions.Serves as a relationship manager for donors in various points of thestewardship cycle, as assigned by the Director, Donor Relations.With the support of the University Gift Acceptance and Agreementsteam, drafts gift agreement documentation for Booth donors,including letters of gift, letters of direction, amendments, andrecognition plans.Manages the Gleacher Center donor wall donor spotlight features.Maintains the current donor walls and named spaces on all Boothcampuses domestically and internationally and works with theDirector, Donor Relations to develop action plans for newopportunities.Works with other members of the Donor Relations team and manages aportion of the annual stewardship reporting process for student andfaculty funds.Works with the Director, Donor Relations and serves as a projectmanager for both stewardship working groups and individualstewardship plan management.Assists in creating and maintaining honor rolls for print andelectronic publications.Maintains stewardship information in Phoenix, the donor database ofrecord.Supports the Donor Relations team on special rojects as needed.Collaborates with others to create, plan, and implement annualleadership recognition, opportunities, vehicles, and events whilebuilding knowledge of the University and processes.Discusses contract terms with vendors, draft thank you letters, andperform other responsibilities and assist with vital projectsthrough use of expanded knowledge and experience in the area.Performs other related work as needed.Minimum Qualifications
