What we are looking forWe are looking for a Field Data Analyst to be based in Medina but open to being remote. You will provide support to OM&M Field Technicians, review monitoring data, and prepare OM&M client reports. Together with the preceding responsibilities, you will maintain client data and documents in the SCS eTools database and understand and implement Federal, State, and Local regulatory compliance requirements at client sites operated, maintained, and monitored by SCS employees.How you can make an impactAcquire, maintain, and implement knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulatory agency rules and regulationsCollect, compile, and summarize information from a variety of sources (e.g., reports, files, databases, individuals) in an accurate, thorough, and timely mannerEvaluate and interpret scientific data and identify inconsistent or erroneous data.Acquire an understanding of field sampling and the maintenance, operation, and components of landfill gas collection and control systemsAssist in database management including the upload of documents as they are preparedDesign data collection instruments (forms, templates, reports) in accordance with project requirementsMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Must be able to communicate with clients and peers using professional dictionMust have reporting experience, administrative writing skills, organization skills, time management, information analysis, professionalism, and problem solvingMust possess the ability to create professional business documents (letters, reports, memoranda, etc.) with little to no oversight or editingQualificationsBachelor's degree preferred1 to 2 years of relevant experienceValid driver's license with a driving record in good standing.Whether it's reducing methane emissions at agricultural facilities and landfills, repurposing contaminated properties, producing alternative energy, or sequestering carbon, we've been focused on finding smart climate solutions and improving the natural environment since our inception over 50 years ago.
