DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position gives interns the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the IT field. Interns in Data Admin Division will work closely with Data and BI team on diverse initiatives. These initiatives may include evaluation of business results, report building, data clean-up, and other projects. We welcome applicants interested in data science, business intelligence, and other analytical career paths. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:Supporting existing Data Management program initiativesParticipating in key projects focused on data analysis, data mining/reporting and continuous process improvementAnalyzing, organizing, segmenting, and disseminating raw or unprocessed data based on business needsDemonstrating the ability to explore and quickly grasp new technologies to progress varied initiativesAssisting in developing insights, results, and recommendations
Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Work hours may vary.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to come into the office one day a month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Must be a high school graduate or college student enrolled (or intending to enroll) on a full-time or part-time basis in a 2- or 4- year post-secondary education program for the fall semester.In good academic standing (as defined by a GPA of 2.0 or higher).At least 18 years of age.Necessary Special Requirements:Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's LicenseAdditional Requirements:This position is located in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA.
