Job Title Cybersecurity Software Analyst Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications • Knowledge on OWASP Top-10, SANS-25 • Skills on CVSS, CVE, CWE, Risk Management • Knowledge on Windows Server, Kali/Backtrack Linux, Embedded systems, Android, Cloud system • Nmap, Burpsuit, Nessus, w3af, Metasploit, SQLmap. • Knowledge on programming language such as C, C , Python, Java, NodeJS Required Skill Set: • Know to test vulnerabilities in Linux, Android, Embedded systems and AWS cloud environment. • Have experience with multiple vulnerability testing platforms (e.g. Kali/Backtrack Linux, Parrot OS, etc.) Highly desirable. • Know to model threat using any formal methods for threat modelling (STRIDE, Attack Tree, etc.). • Possess good understanding of network security and cryptography fundamentals, with some hands-on experience using crypto libraries and APIs (e.g. Openssl, Bouncycastle, Keystore, etc.) • S/W vulnerability analysis and knowledge of best practices for secure S/W programming. • Strong understanding of SDLC and experience using related tools for Defect tracking, Source Control, IDEs, etc. Desirable Skill Set: • Possess good understanding of networking protocols TCP/IP, UDP, SSL, XML, etc. • Good understanding of Operating/Embedded Systems basics. • Strong programmer who is comfortable writing code in various languages (e.g. C, Java, C , Python, etc.) • Strong motivation and Excellent communication skill Expected to do: • Proactively evaluate product ecosystem to determine potential security vulnerabilities. • Play both offence and defense in cybersecurity and offer resolution/advice for identified vulnerabilities. • Drill down to specific reported vulnerabilities as well as have a holistic view of the impact of the vulnerabilities. • Create security threat models and perform design and architecture reviews w.r.to cybersecurity. • Develop internal tools to assist with various Cybersecurity activities. Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Engineering discipline, Computer Science, Information Technology is preferred and having a relevant cybersecurity certificate (OSCP, CISSP or any equivalent certification). • Master’s degree in any field of Security (Cybersecurity, Mobile Security, Embedded Security, etc.). • 0 to 8-years’ experience.
