Watts is looking for an innovative Cyber Security Intern you will learn how to work methodically in a detail-oriented way to dig into technical questions and examine them from all sides. You’ll be able to participate identification of real-world cyber security risks and incidents. You will learn how to collect and manage cyber security artifacts and how to read regulatory reports and translate for senior-level presentation.

What You'll Do
Provide first level of support for incident monitoring and investigations.
Assistance with the deployment and upkeep of the information security tools and applications.
Review and update documentation for policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
Planning, research, and technical design for security solutions in support of strategic security plan.
Perform and/or oversees vulnerability scanning, and security assessments in support of risk management and audit activities.
Provide input into improving information security reporting and metrics.
Establish configuration policies for security technologies.
Establish security engineering processes and procedures and conducts staff training on these procedures and processes.
EDUCATION:
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent analytical and math skills are a must
Basic understanding of IT and Computer Systems.
Basic understanding of Scripting and Computer Programing.
Experience in trouble shooting problems and working with team members to find solutions.
Relevant internship or work experience is a plus
