Responsibilities for thisPositionREPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of ourcountry. GDMS has an immediate opening for an Cyber Engineering Intern to joinour team. The position provides an opportunity to work on projects thatsupport some of our nation's fundamental defense services. GDMS employeeswork closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them tocarry out high-stakes national security missions.College course exposure to Computer Science and/or Engineering concepts,coursework, and projects. The candidate will have experience and knowledgeof basic software practices such as coding and configuration management.Candidate must have effective oral and written communication skills and anability to work effectively in a rapid paced, team environment.Understanding of Cyber industry/DoD best practices for confidentiality,integrity, and availability (CIA) of systems is highly desirable.Familiarity with STIGs, NIST standards, and security controls is a plus.The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various technicalprojects associated with our core mission.
