DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Summary:As the Commissioning Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the commissioning activities for various projects. This role involves working closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that systems are installed, tested, and operated according to design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Your Role:* Develop comprehensive commissioning plans outlining the scope, schedule, and resources required for each project.* Collaborate with project teams to integrate commissioning activities into the overall project timeline.* Lead the testing and verification of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation & control systems to ensure they meet design and performance criteria.* Oversee the multi-disciplined onsite team comprised of engineers and technicians .* Identify and resolve any issues or deviations from specifications during the commissioning process.* Create and maintain detailed commissioning documentation, including test procedures, protocols, and reports.* Provide regular updates to project teams and clients on commissioning progress and any challenges encountered .* Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and facility operators, to ensure smooth execution of commissioning activities.* Act as the primary point of contact for commissioning-related inquiries and issues.* Develop training programs for end-users and operations staff on the newly commissioned systems.* Facilitate the smooth transition of systems from commissioning to operational phase.* Ensure that commissioning activities comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.* Implement quality control measures to uphold the integrity of commissioning processes.
Qualifications:* Demonstrated experience and/or tenure performing commissioning duties.* Diploma or GED req u ired . Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related experience preferred .* Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus .* Proven experience in commissioning roles, with a focus on complex systems in industrial or commercial projects.* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and Instrumentation & control systems.* Excellent project management and organizational skills.* Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse project teams and stakeholders.* Familiarity with commissioning software and tools.* A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.* Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
