Job DescriptionCustomer Supply Chain Support6811 E Mission Ave, Spokane, WA 99212WA057Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pmUp to 28 hours/weekOVERVIEW:Working as Part-time Customer Supply Chain Support, you will engage in a variety of activities to support the customer's supply chain in order to improve the performance of the onsite business. This is an entry level position where you will build a foundation of experience in customer relationship management and operations. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:oResponding and coordinating resources relative to customer requestsoManaging inventoryoPlacing and fulfilling ordersoReceiving and shipping inventoryoExecuting inventory fulfillment within the customer facilityoSourcing and quoting new and existing productsoParticipating in continuous improvement activities and implementing new business processesoMonetizing and reporting the value of supply chain management activities to the customerREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of workoPossess or are working towards a degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management OR have equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local marketoExcellent written and oral communication skillsoProficient computer skillsoDemonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgencyoHighly motivated, self directed and customer service orientedoBe comfortable in a sales-oriented environmentoDemonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworko Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbsoPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as neededoPossess an interest in career advancementABOUT US:Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
