Description We are in the search for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in SHARONVILLE, Ohio. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with various responsibilities focused on customer service and data management. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and aims to provide excellent service to our Mechanical Contractors and Internal Sales team.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter customer orders, ensuring proper model numbers and shipping details are correctly placed.
• Provide friendly customer service to our Mechanical Contractors and Internal Sales Team.
• Handle all Carrier Startup requests by providing Purchase Orders and Documentation to Carrier Commercial Services.
• Assist in event planning such as golf outings and lunch and learn sessions.
• Handle Carrier Gear Purchases and maintain an organized file system.
• Maximize Commercial orders within allowable ranges as per the Carrier Distributors Operating Manual.
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and record keeping.
• Answer inbound calls, provide shipping information for multiple products to customers.
• Manage weekly updates such as sending out weekly inventory lists of our products and updating our job tracking excel sheets. Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience in a customer service role within the wholesale distribution industry
• Proficient in answering inbound calls and managing inbound and outbound calls effectively
• Proven experience in a call center customer service environment
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with email correspondence and ability to professionally respond to customer inquiries via email
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is essential
• Experience in order entry, ensuring all customer orders are accurately processed
• Ability to schedule appointments effectively, managing team and client calendars
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints or issues
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
