As a member of our Solution Consulting team, you will have a major impact on our future success by supporting Sales team. You will guide revenue for our IT operation management products with the support and partnership of Sales, Product Management, and the executive team. This is a hands-on technical consultant who can go wide and deep on solution delivery and solution positioning during sales cycles.

The Solution Consultant is a technical consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.
Advise customers/prospects to take advantage of the ServiceNow IT Operations Management suite to solve business issues and technical problems preventing them from achieving their goals.
Inspire with an innovative mindset by guiding the future of our ITOM solutions.
Bringing our customers to higher operational level through proposing AI Ops to prevent impact and automate resolutions.
Take a leading role in creating and sharing best practices and content both to educate colleagues and help customers realize value faster.
Qualify, scope, plan and deliver customer-facing activities such as presentations, demos, and proof of concepts.
Promote and educate about ServiceNow technology and industry trends through public, customer, and marketing events such as conferences, webinars, executive briefings, etc.
Be the voice of the customer and provide feedback to help product management and engineering teams shape the roadmap and better support our customers.
Be the go-to person in an area of focus for market trends and competitive analysis with special skills in differentiation for our ITOM solutions.
Be the trusted advisor for our ITOM solutions for customers, the market, partners, and colleagues, and with a consultative mindset, coach them towards the value-based decisions.
To be successful in this role you have:
5+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience in product specific area
Lifelong learner passion for building trustful business relationships
Great communication and presentation skills including technical and business concepts
Experience driving technical activities in complex organizations managing change and multiple stakeholders at multiple levels
Ideally, solution consulting and/or presales background in datacenters domains with understanding and hands-on experience with related tools and processes (Role open to people who have relevant experience in industries and not traditional pre-sales, solution consulting)
Experience installing, configuring, customizing, and integrating technologies from various domains such as ITIL/CMDB, Cloud, DevOps, Monitoring, Automation, Observability etc.
Ability to create and influence enterprise architectures in large organizations
Excellent interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, and experience working with a diverse team
Fluency in Japanese and English (strong written and oral communication skills in Japanese)
Experience with concepts like Public or Private Cloud, Machine Learning, AIOps, Observability is a plus
Scripting knowledge is a plus
