In this role, it will be critical for you to plan and direct all accounting operational functions, handle the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and lead departmental staff. Your responsibilities
Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash
Manage the creation of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts
Give executive committee and partners monthly financial reports
Evaluate, apply and refine policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Time monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is punctual
Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation
Assess deliverables of self and team to verify they meet client expectations
Collaborate with executive team and partners to make efficient and effective firm-wide operation possible
Direct finance department activities, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll
Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis

Requirements - CPA/MBA preferred
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field
Command of manufacturing
Cost accounting experience desired
Adeptness in CPA
University Degree experience
Deep understanding of Plant management
University Degree experience

Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Outstanding technology, analytics and management experience required
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred
