  Job Overview:

  Contact and counsel delinquent members in an attempt to cure delinquency utilizing all payment options and loss mitigation tools

  Control delinquency on Consumer/Credit Card loan accounts

  Ensure required notifications, including collection emails, letters and any applicable state/regulatory letters are sent to members

  Explain and communicate relinquishing options such as settlements and bankruptcy

  Obtain detailed financial information from delinquent members and offer solutions and alternatives to bankruptcy/charge-off

  Perform manager share transfers for amounts up to authorized limits

  Provide required reporting to supervisors and management (including daily in-house, activity trends and payment tracking)

  Use on-line tools and contact appropriate parties

  Regularly review member account data and/or documentation to ensure data is accurate, up-to-date and in compliance with government and company guidelines

  Perform other duties as assigned

  Training:

  Total of 8 weeks of training (Training is paid but Time off is not approved)

  First 4 Weeks Hybrid: 7am-3:30pm CST/ 8am-4:30pm EST

  Monday – Friday, first 3 days are on site, then hybrid 1 day a week

  Nesting: 4 weeks technical training ON SITE: taught phone etiquette, navigation through system, hands on training and shadowing other counselors

  Up to 4 weeks after is nesting led by leadership team to develop skills

  Schedule after training/nesting: Monday-Saturday availability

  Shift can fall between 7am-8pm CST, 8am-9pm EST, screen for flexibility Saturday is always 8am-4:30pm (based on the candidates preference) Hybrid schedule, 2 days per week on site

  Work Environment:

  Will receive equipment to work from home during Hybrid schedule (2 monitors, keyboard, mouse, head set)

  Open cubical environment

  High call volume

  Team oriented environment

  Qualifications:

  Working knowledge of Consumer/Credit Card collections systems, policies, procedures, practices and/or actions

  Effective skill applying innovative approaches to solve technical design issues

  Effective skill in systems analysis, workflow, or procedural analysis

  Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
