Job Description:Provides receptionist and clerical support in preparing,coordinating and compiling patient records, answering phones, andscheduling appointments.
This is a 100% remote position however, currently we are unable toconsider candidates for remote opportunities in the following states:California, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington Illinois andPennsylvania
Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5pm MT regardless of location.

As a Self-Pay Collections Specialist you need to know how to:Maintain contact with our patient population to resolve outstanding accountbalancesReduce delinquency for assigned accountsArrange payment schedule, adjust insurances for billing purposes and/orrequest alternative methods of payment/charity fundingPerform high volume inbound and outbound phone calls for collectionsResearch accounts receivable issues as required or directedProvide excellent customer servicePromote a patient-centric approach to working medical collectionsManage accounts receivable balances for hospital billing by reducing the AR tocash and processes surrounding ARMonitor and maintain a high level of productivity and quality of work toachieve monthly self-pay collection goals
Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent, required1 year of experience in an office / medical office environment highlypreferredBilingual; Spanish speakingKnowledge of billing and collection processes, highly preferredKnowledge of payment assistance and charity programs, preferred
Physical Requirements:Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to movefingers and hands.See and read computer monitors and documents.Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on acomputer, telephone, or other equipment.May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending,kneeling and reaching.
