Job Summary

As a GAF Roads Customer Operations Specialist, you will be the point of contact for all post-sale customer-related activities. From the time our Sales team closes a deal, you will take ownership of the pavement project — working directly with many stakeholders, including customers, contractors, internal sales, internal operations, and others to ensure project success and satisfaction.

This role requires a high degree of discretion, independent judgment, and problem-solving to navigate complex projects, anticipate roadblocks, and ensure smooth project execution. Essential Duties

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Lead planning, coordinating, and managing the job work plan to ensure smooth execution and alignment across stakeholders• Oversee order and logistics of all necessary materials, equipment, tools for executing the job• Use and help further develop communication and planning tools, exercising independent judgment to resolve issues and adjust plans as needed• Develop and enhance communication and planning tools to improve coordination and project visibility• Define, implement, and refine relevant SOPs to drive consistency and efficiency in operations.• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming service requests—be it from our Field Technicians or Customers—and independently triage and resolve issues to keep projects on trackQualifications Required

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

5+ years of customer service related experience

Project management skills with desire for high accountability and comfortable pushing stakeholders to follow up

Attention to detail

Clear communicator, adept at mediation and confident managing conflict (calm under pressure)

Customer focus service — you enjoy talking to customers and it’s in your DNA to be a people pleaser

Qualifications Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree

Problem solver who champions data-driven decision making

Familiarity with asset management processes and tools

Experience with project management tools like Monday.com and JIRA

Digital savvy/native, and if not, facility for learning new tools

Travel Requirements: Limited travel (5-10%) to team and customer meetings as well as key projects

Consideration will be given based on geography, candidate experience, and qualifications.

Annual Salary Range: 58,500-74,750
