This position reports into the Senior Customer Development Manager and will manage Tarlac and Pangasinan areas.

What You Will Do
The Customer Development Manager is responsible for managing accounts under General Trade Direct & Wholesale. He/She will lead customer engagement with key accounts in the assigned areas and connect with stakeholders in the field to meet business objectives and key results (OKR) reviews. He/She will review results against forecasts, adjusts business plans to ensure objectives are met, and roll out communication plan parameters and goals, ad hoc plans and contexts to all stakeholders. He/She also monitors progress and implements corrective action when necessary, prepares periodic sales reports and reviews for management, presents changes to customer profiles and alternatives for addressing, and resolves routine problems and customer complaints. This job is not eligible for sales incentives / sales commissions.
Key Responsibilities
Leads in the development of the assigned Key Accounts and executing competitive and strategic programs which are effective and efficient to support the achievement of planned market and brand related sales targets
Develops assigned Key Account specific strategies & plans as aligned with the Channel strategy and recommends appropriate execution requirements needed by the account
Supports group key accounts in the assigned key accounts negotiations to ensure plans to be implemented, proper assortment, availability, visibility, pricing and location of products
Ensures that products and promotional materials have prime visibility and deployed according to the agreed timeframe
Provides good service level and introduces inventory management principles, processes and tools across all point of sale
Conducts assigned account category analysis on volume and brand performance, competitors' activities, forecasts sales and review based on understanding customer's expansion plans, consumer/market trends, seasonality, industry performance, and brand opportunities to improve the effectiveness of key account plans
Delivers OKR results versus targets for assortment, availability, visibility, service level and promotional execution
Provides input to the department's budget, handles P&L for the set of customers, manages expenses to stay within budget, and working with field partners to realize agreed OKRs
Coordinates with Third Party Agency on the accomplishment of merchandising, visibility, and promotional objectives in assigned accounts. Monitors third party execution of plans, and through accomplishment and timely submission of compliance audits.
Provides leadership in monitoring the quality of products in the store including returns
Regularly monitors floaters report and ensures that there are no hanging AR balances beyond the time frame. Identifies items that are part of the floaters and provide appropriate action plans by coordinating with different internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
More than 3 years’ experience in Key Account Management, Sales or Business Development, with proven track record in driving account deals and acquisitions
Preferably with experience in sales within Tarlac and Pangasinan areas
Bachelor’s degree (sales or business management is an advantage)
Preferably with background and experience in FMCG (food or non-food categories) retail environment and distribution, with strong commercial and analytical skills
Demonstrates leadership experience to maintain a high-quality performing team
Strong relationship and stakeholder management with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Must have strong communication skills and stakeholder management
Ability to negotiate with customers and to drive process improvements amidst complexity
With good leadership potential
Proficient in computer applications
Good driving skills and has a valid driver's license
