Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The Customer Account and Revenue Specialist will work in a team environment, supporting our customers, sales, and other internal departments. The position is responsible for managing customer accounts, processing orders in a timely and efficient manner, resolve customer deductions, validate trade deductions, and check requests. This position will also be responsible for settling approved trade and non-trade deductions and check requests in the Trade Promotion System. The incumbent must be energetic, well organized, a team player, possess the ability to organize and prioritize their workload, and strong and professional communication skills. Process orders placed by customers by incoming and outgoing phone calls as well as emails. Answer customer questions, process customer bills or credits and provide information on product availability or other general product questions. Communicate key information to customers such as changes in delivery schedules, information on upcoming ad items and new or discontinued products. Identify and research deductions and determine if they are valid or need to be repaid. Ensure deductions are setup to the correct customer. Match backup support with proof of performance. Request support documentation on deductions from customers or brokers as needed. Update deduction status, types, reason codes, and comments as they change in the Trade Promotion System. Request repayment and create disputes with customer online portals or collaborate with assigned brokers on unauthorized deductions. Provide support to Sales by communicating customer issues, concerns, and requests. Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned. Qualifications Two+ years of experience in customer service and general accounting. Proficient in Microsoft applications, advanced skills in Excel and ten key proficient Detail orientated, organizational skills along with excellent oral, written and listening abilities. Highly initiative-taking individual who can work in a fast-paced environment with focus on meeting deadlines with a positive and professional attitude and shows the initiative for continuous improvement. SAP experience preferred.
