THE ROLE
We are looking for a talented, Brand Manager to help drive our ambitions plans for 2024 and beyond. The Brand Manager will join the Consumer Beauty Division for Coty to work within our New Business team. You will be part of the Global Brand Team and reports into the Director New Business and Brand Growth based in NYC.As a New Business Brand Manager, you will have a strong passion and knowledge of the category across key markets, understanding of commercial dynamics and strong relationship building.You will support the Director of New Business in identifying white space/new business opportunities; and translate the recommendations/vison into 3 years business plan to seek approval from Senior Leadership.You will lead the new product development, creative and communication development for new identified brands.In your role you will be accountable for driving successful proposal, gaining approval from both Senior Leadership and relevant markets for the identified opportunity.You will be leading your projects from brief to ex-factory with independence to achieve yours and the team's goals. You act as a real conductor between all cross-functional teams & markets.
Your key areas of responsibility will be the following:
Develop initial Brand vision, concept, positioning, portfolio & pricing recommendations based on internal and external benchmarkBuild the initial 3 years business plan for all identified opportunities to gain relevant approval For approved proposal; be fully in charge of the brand & product development process (design, product, brand messaging & communication...)Lead briefing & delivery of communication materials with both internal and external creative partnersSupport commercial readiness: deliver on time integrated communication plans and playbooks to support rightfully the new initiatives Partner with cross functional teams at Coty to deliver timely innovations supporting healthy brand growthBe responsible for budget management of your projectsBe a true partner to our key markets understanding their needs & delivering fit for use initiatives to maximize every opportunity.
QUALIFICATIONS |
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong willingness to lead and grow our brands and go the extra mile. We are looking for you to highlight to us clear examples of how you have personally impacted and led previous projects, in a professional or personal environment. It is also important that you know how to work with global teams and operate with a highly collaborative and open mindset.
Key requirements
At least 3 years' experience in brand management/product development in the beauty industry with majority in fragrance marketing and developmentPrevious relevant experience, working for a global organization, or at least exposure to multi-cultural environments.Must demonstrate leadership, strategic thinking, independence, proactiveness and ownership; embracing both big picture objectives and follow-through on details.Must have experience in working with R&D and with Consumer Insights teamStrong analytical and organizational skills.Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to perform under pressure.Ability to be a good team player, and develop effective working relationships, adapting to different working styles.Strong eye for design and able to demonstrate a creative flairPassionate about beauty and the opportunity to build Scenting brands based on consumer insights.

Base Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000 + bonus
