The Custodian is responsible for workinginside a prison directly with one (1) to four (4) incarceratedindividuals instructing, leading, and providing instruction to assistwith custodial services. JOB DUTIES: * Responsible for working inside aprison directly with one (1) to four (4) incarcerated individualsinstructing, leading, and providing instruction to assist with custodialservices. * Other responsibilities include but is not limited to:keeping buildings and facilities clean and orderly; assist in moving andarranging furniture and equipment; turn out lights and lock doors andwindows; refill lavatory and housekeeping supplies, and operateequipment and machinery such as scrubbers, buffers, waxers. *Responsible for assisting with daily operations, preparing list ofmaterials/supplies to order and train incarcerated individuals. *Maintains accurate Work Incentive and time-keeping records forincarcerated individual workers. * Assist in moving and arrangingfurniture and equipment, attends special events, and helps with meetingset-up, and ensures that all areas of responsibility meet acceptablestandards. EXPECTATIONS: In addition to evaluating each candidate\'srelative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience,the following factors will provide the basis for competitivelyevaluating each candidate: *Custodial, janitorial, professionalcleaning experience *Experience cleaning biohazard or hospital cleaningexperience *Experience using janitorial equipment *Experience leadingor instruction of a work group *Willing to work evenings, weekends, andovertime HOURS: Part-time: about 20 hours/week, must be availableweekends.
