Vital functions of thisrole include: the creation of the strategic positioning, go-to-marketplan and marketing assets for CSG\'s overall product and solution sets.This role is a product/solution evangelist and serves as the liaisonbetween the product management organization, Strategic Solution Unitsand the customer by crafting a unique and compelling value propositionand product messaging that positions the product for success andleadership in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will be passionateabout enhancing customer experiences and the products in their portfoliocategory to improve engagement and conversion across the customerlifecycle; being an expert in their field, know their buyer personas andhave a fundamental understanding of where the market is going.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of the go-to-market strategy and executionplans spanning all stages of the buyer lifecycle; from prospectidentification to acquisition and retention with persona specificmessaging that differentiates the designated product solution suitein the market across specific industry verticals and buyingcommittee.Gain the critical information (i.e. competitive analysis, personas,user testing, and customer feedback) needed to develop positioningand messaging that resonates with target audiences.Collaborate with Product Management and Sales to plan the launch ofnew products and releases. Create and lead the cross-functionalimplementation of the plan.Actively participate as key member of the product managementstrategic roadmap team. Ensure that the voice of the customer isrepresented in planning discussions to ensure market opportunitiesare optimized.Generate customer success case studies through customer interviewsand metrics from the platform.Manage to an agreed schedule of deliverables and within designatedbudgets.Stay current on market trends and competitive landscape and buildinsights and advantages into product positioning. Participate in theidentification, justification and monitoring of new marketopportunities and pursuit plans.Partner with the sales and product management teams to buildnecessary tools and materials that educate and train the sales andsupport functions of the organization on the go-to-market plans.Rally the company around the global launch and evolution of theproduct, providing end to end metrics around progress to overtakecompetitive products in the market.Be the product/solution brand ambassador and evangelist,participating in the development of marketing content that ison-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice,and optimized for search and user experience for all channelsincluding online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile,video, print and in-person.Collaborate with product management, sales and customer success toassist in the development of use cases, case studies, ROI analysisand compelling demo scripts to showcase product capabilities.Provide content to the solution consultants/pre-sales team to createcompelling and effective product demos.Education
Requires BS/BA degree in a marketing discipline, MBA preferred; orthe equivalent work experienceExperience
Minimum of 12+ years of experience in product marketing, or productmanagement that has enabled specific messaging and domains expertisewithin B2B enterprise technology.Familiarity with Pragmatic Framework and Certification (con epts,framework, terminology, etc.)Demonstrated flexibility to lead marketing teams and strategy in afast-paced, fluid, cross-functional, matrixed environment.Executive level presence with a proven track record as acollaborator with high proficiency in building high performanceteams and partnerships while driving transformational breakthroughswithin target markets and across complex product launches.Excellent writing, organization, and project management skills.Must have an entrepreneurial spirit, be a self-starter, andinnovative with the ability to be flexible and adaptable to clients,as well as business needs.Position Pay Range:
This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for thisposition. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but notlimited to geographical location and experience.
\$169,241.25-\$270,786.69
This role is eligible for bonus and equity.
