  Â

  The part-time custodianis responsible forcleaning projects requiring advanced training anddemonstratedskill. Inspects work performed in assigned building/property(s) andsubmitsreports to the Supervisor. Positions may be indoors tomaintainthe interior of the community, outdoors tomaintainthe exterior, or a mixture of both.Â

  Your Responsibilities:Â Â

  Â

  Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs, window cleaning and painting as needed.ÂInforms Supervisor of needed supplies.ÂMaintains all cleaning solutions in accordancetoOSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.ÂRemoves trash from premises andassistsin emergency cleaning.ÂResponsible for setting up and breaking down tables/chairs forspecial events, club meetings, and other activities occurring in the clubhouse and outdoors.ÂMaintainsfriendlyand professional attitude.ÂResponsible formaintainingtheappropriate levelof sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas.ÂInspects all assigned areas daily and reports all cleaning and maintenance discrepancies toSupervisor.ÂEnsures that security procedures are adhered to at all times.ÂEnsures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.ÂMaintains working relationship with building staff.ÂResponsible for completing special cleaning projects on a weekly,monthlyor yearly basis as directed by supervisor.ÂMaintains room inspection log sheets and monthly work log sheets to track completed assignments.ÂMaintains assigned equipment in good working condition.ÂMust keep all work areas neat,cleanand organized.ÂAs applicable, cleans restrooms: Sweeps and mops floors. Refills all dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & hand soap. Cleans toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors & counters. Empties/removes trash. Reports any discrepancies or deficiencies to supervisor.ÂAbility to properlyutilizenew equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.ÂAbility to strip and wax floors and extract carpets as needed.ÂÂ

  Schedule:

  28 hours per week

  Tues/Thurs 6p-12a, Sat-Sun 4p-12a

  Skills & Qualifications:Â Â

  Â

  Previouscustodial experience preferred.ÂEffective written and verbal communication skills.ÂStrong customer service, communication and interpersonal skillsrequired.ÂHigh school diploma or equivalency preferred.ÂCapable of working extended hours,to includeevenings,weekendsandholidaysas necessary.ÂMust be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so thatvarious typesof communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone.ÂPosition involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting,carryingand moving objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day.Mustalso be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary.ÂThis position will alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate and with proper lighting,toanoutdoorssetting with variable climate and lighting.ÂMust be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills.ÂMust be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions,changesand delays. Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances. For safety reasons,employeemust remain alert to working conditions and aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns.ÂÂ
