Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Low Voltage Technician based in Savannah, Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting various security-related systems, and ensuring the availability of required equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and troubleshoot access control, intrusion alarm, and closed-circuit television systems.

• Identify and resolve system issues effectively and promptly.

• Enhance the functionality and usability of systems by performing upgrades and additions.

• Maintain adequate inventory of equipment and supplies to ensure smooth operations.

• Submit daily work logs for approval.

• Ensure the availability of necessary materials at the job site by transporting various items such as tools, equipment, and supplies.

• Respond promptly to emergency situations to address immediate safety/security concerns.

• Add closed circuit television cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarm systems as needed through computer program entry.

• Collaborate with facilities managers and other trades to complete projects and services efficiently.

• Contribute to the development of employee training programs as requested.

• Provide necessary information for decision making, taking action, or complying with health and safety regulations.

Requirements • Proficiency in Structured Cabling is required for this role.

• Expertise in Low Voltage Cabling is a significant requirement.

• Experience with Access Control systems is essential.

• Knowledge of IP Cameras is necessary for successful performance in this role. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
