Local Hire appointments may be extended based on the needs of the disaster. Responsibilities What will I do in this position if hired? In the Local Hire (Accountable Property Specialist) position, you will be managing an accountable property program. Typical assignments include: Establishing and maintaining formal property records. Receiving items into the inventory system of record, managing hand receipts, and creating property transfer records. Conducting inventories, maintaining personal property databases, and performing inventory asset management. Requesting supplies for equipment, services, or commodities. What else do I need to know?
