  Specialist, Culture & Employee Experience

  This Is What You’ll Do:

  Support employee engagement program initiatives that help define, build, and grow the company culture.

  Assist with development, implementation, and assessment of strategies and programs to continuously improve employee engagement, recognition, and retention among our employees contributing to a high performing organization linked to our values of Respect, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence.

  Act as an OPI Culture Champion engaging with all levels of employees.

  Assists with regular tracking and trending of culture initiatives and makes recommendations for employee engagement optimization; and submits appropriate forms for PMO tollgate progression of approved projects.

  Assist with developing, executing, and analyzing the internal engagement/pulse survey, eNPS, focus group feedback, and other people analytics to measure engagement impact and to ensure the leadership team has access to insights that inform positive change.

  Assist with the implementation of people recognition initiatives that are valued across the organization at all levels and ongoing ownership.

  Review and update content to the internal intranet to ensure it reflects company branding, culture and is a relevant and useful platform for employees.

  Coordinate social activity and performance update events, including but not limited to Town Halls, social, holiday and teambuilding parties, and other annual events.

  Assist with ad-hoc projects that further enhance the employee and customer experience.

  Assists team with assigned portions of the Culture/EX budget, tracking project costs and invoices against the budget and communicating aggregate reporting to team for reconciliations, as needed.

  Works closely with the training and learning and development teams to assist in curating and facilitating Culture/EX training, as needed.

  Facilitates the effectiveness of third-party vendors, customer service follow-up, and contractors.

  This Is What It Takes:

  Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources or other related field preferred.

  2+ years of experience in Employee Engagement, Internal Communications, or Human Resources is required.

  Strong understanding of corporate values, branding and marketing concepts.

  Proven experience with analyzing employee experience and engagement focused metrics.

  Basic organization, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.

  Strong people skills which extend to a diverse group of individuals and demographics.

  Previous work experience demonstrating decision-making ability; ability to effectively communicate with and positively influence people; familiarity with fiscal operations, conflict resolution, and customer and employee experience.

  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including SharePoint.

  Strong organization, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure and meet demanding deadlines; a sense of urgency is required.
