JOB REQUIREMENTS: Controls Systems Technician II What you will do As acontrols systems technician with Johnson Controls you will performassigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration andcommissioning tools. You will troubleshoot and resolve basic HVACmechanical, electrical, and control problems and respond to basicwarranty calls How you will do it Loads system-level controller softwarePerforms basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-levelcontrollers to end devices (such as: sensors, actuators, etc.) andcompletes all required commissioning documentation Keeps management andJCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issuesCalibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment Completesadministrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expensereports, and on-site documentation Documents changes and providesinformation for as-built documentation Communicates with the JCIcontractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work siteFollows all safety standards and attends required safety training. Highdegree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety. What we look forBasic computer skills Demonstrated technical aptitude. Able to use handand power tools (i.e. drills, saws, etc.) Attention to detail. Effectivecommunication and listening skills. Basic knowledge of mechanical HVACsystems Depending on location, the mounting and termination oflow-voltage devices may have special licensing requirements. PreferredLow voltage/120-volt wiring skills preferred. Two years\' experience ininstalling electronic and/or mechanical systems. Demonstrated knowledgeof HVAC systems.
