Overview:

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is seeking a dedicated full-time Crime Victims Services Coordinator. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our clients by managing service inquiries, maintaining program records, and providing direct advocacy and referral support. The salary range is $50,000-$52,000.

Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Respond promptly to service inquiries.

Conduct new client intakes and maintain detailed records in line with WJCS and OVS standards.

Manage a caseload of 8-10 clients, providing advocacy and support services to referred victims.

Assist program Advocates with follow-up calls and referrals, ensuring timely and effective support.

Operate the program’s 24-hour hotline from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including creating and distributing the hotline schedule among staff; Forward after-hours calls to the designated hotline cell phone.

Track documentation and input data in compliance with OVS regulations.

Order necessary program materials and assist with data entry for program billing.

Coordinate with administrative support for the Trager Lemp Center for Trauma and Resilience clinical team.

Other duties as assigned by Program Director and Advocate Supervisor.

Requirements:

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field.

Excellent administrative and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Proficiency with computer skills.

Ability to understand the needs of program participants.

Effective communication skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license to visit various sites.
