Summary
The CRA Consultant will work with the bank’s CRA and HMDA Data Management assisting with reporting, analysis, and research related to the Community Reinvestment Act Compliance Program. The CRA Consultant will support the CRA Department in all data management related projects utilizing CRA Wiz, Excel, and other technical reporting applications. This role is key in assisting the team in meeting its CRA goals, including timely CRA performance evaluation (CRA PE) preparations, CRA modernization implementation, different projects, and day to day tasks.
Key Responsibilities Include
Utilizing CRA Wiz, builds HMDA and Small Business (SB) lending charts and other technical reports on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Assists with REMA analysis reports (HMDA & SB)
Assists with mapping – assessment area (AA) and census tract maps
Builds FFIEC median family income tables by AAs
Assists with reports, research and analysis required to prepare the annual CRA Self-Assessment and Performance Context in preparation for the CRA PE
Assists with CRA Modernization related projects
Works in cooperation with the CRA team in identifying potential community development activities, such as loans, donations, and services
Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications Include
Work experience with WK CRA Wiz or similar software, including mapping features
Building and analyzing HMDA and Small Business reports
Ability to research and assist with writing narrative sections of the CRA Self-Assessment
Familiarity with highly technical reporting regulations such as CRA, HMDA, and Fair Lending
Strong analytical skills; including metrics analysis
Comfortable working with numbers, metrics, formulas, and benchmarks
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Detail oriented
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate and effectively work in a team as well as independently
Flexibility to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor (4-year college) degree preferred; or
2-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Microsoft Office suite
Special software: CRA Wiz and Excel
