  About the Role

  Validity is seeking a seasoned Country Manager, VP Sales with SaaS expertise to drive go-to-market performance and growth for the combined UK/EMEA region. The Country Manager will be responsible for the overall revenue number within the region including new business as well as retention, growth and expansion of existing customer relationships. The Country Manager will possess a deep understanding of the regional market, including customer and competitive trends, and be able to leverage this market knowledge to differentiate Validity’s value proposition to customers.  In addition to prior successful go-to-market leadership experience, the ideal candidate must be well experienced managing a regional P&L, leading and inspiring teams to peak performance and developing and implementing efficient processes designed to scale.

  This is a hybrid office-based position requiring that a minimum of 3 days per week are worked in the team's Uxbridge office (Hayes Town) location. The team will be relocating to London City in the first-half of 2025.

  Position Duties and Responsibilities

  Provide senior management presence within the region.  Provide thought leadership and vision externally and internally.  Represent Validity in the market with customers and prospects as well as at conferences and events.  Lead employees by example by demonstrating integrity, a strong work ethic, personal accountability, and high performance.

  Develop, implement, and execute the company’s regional business strategies.  Communicate progress and status of regional activities to the Executive Team, stakeholders and employees.

  Own revenue achievement and retention targets for UK and Europe. 

  Provide strong sales leadership through a deep understanding of the local market. Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes to identify business opportunities and potential risks.

  Drive business development initiatives to expand the company's market share and customer base. Directly engage with customers: identify, develop, and maintain strong professional relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. 

  Work with US teams to identify and craft UK/EMEA service and product features, monitoring the quality of customer service and working with the Global Head of Customer Success.

  Work with the Partnership team on identifying and developing partnerships that expand our sales efforts and localized offerings in Europe

  Hire, develop and lead high-performing teams to success.

  Work directly with Chief Revenue Officer to develop sales targets, retention objectives, marketing programs and other regional go-to-market activities.

  Partner with SVPs of Customer Success and Account Management to ensure consistent delivery of customer engagement and success practices.

  Identify and evaluate potential acquisitions targets which may add strategic value to Validity.

  Ensure compliance of our activity with local laws, regulations, and company policies.

  Required Experience, Skills, and Education

  15+ years’ experience in similar leadership role within a SaaS/MarTech company focused on sales, product management or business operations. (Experience with email deliverability, an ESP, or data solutions a plus.)

  Previous experience in a commercial leadership role with a demonstrated track record of achieving targets and delivering growth.

  Experience in a non-headquarters leadership role, able to demonstrate sound business judgement in fulfilling functions that may not be represented locally.

  Comfortable being hands-on and detail focused. This is a very hands on role where working with frontline teams requires collaboration and leadership on architecture, negotiation and closing.

  Prior experience with MEDDPICC sales methodology preferred.

  10+ years’ experience hiring, growing & managing high performing teams to support business success.

  Strong business acumen – excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to make sound business judgements quickly/decisively.

  Data-driven approach with deep experience leveraging qualitative customer insights and quantitative customer data to assess and inform decision-making.

  Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.

  Well-developed coaching and management skills

  Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  Conveys a contagious sense of urgency in a manner that motivates others to perform and achieve collective goals.

  Entrepreneurial spirit! A strategic thinker who can execute tactically. 

  Collaborative, team player with respect for all functions and role levels across the organization.

  Ability to travel globally on a quarterly basis.

  Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education

  Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
