Reporting to the Director Country Publishing, as Senior Manager Publishing France and Benelux, you will be part of the Country Publishing Leadership team in EMEA leading the French and Benelux markets helping the EMEA team to reach their goals and unlocking local main market and business opportunities.
You will lead the team who will develop our regional publishing efforts across Riot's diverse portfolio of products. Together as a team, you'll create impactful player experiences that enhance our multi-game community connection and engagement in the region and help expand the community for future games.
Additionally, you will partner with the other country publishing leaders to define and drive alignment on our regional OKRs. You will define and align your subregion OKRs and expectations and develop an approach to regularly monitor the performance and effectiveness of our local teams, product investments and resources.
You lead with an entrepreneurial spirit, have experience managing ambiguous situations, and are used to delivering on tight turnarounds. As a result, you're eager to design and develop experiences that genuinely and measurably engage players and fans.
We are looking for someone who has their finger on the pulse of the French and Benelux gaming culture, who has strong player and cultural empathy, who has the experience to lead local executions of Riot EMEA’s go-to-market plans by managing publishing, communications, government relations, brand, influencers, communities, local contents creation, events marketing and competitive experiences, and who has a strong business network to be able to build strategic partnerships in the region to create long-term value.
This role will be based in Paris, France.
Responsibilities:
Build, lead, and grow an outstanding team that provides top-notch publishing and community involvement to locally served countries and languages, media, and other commercial partners. Define, lead and execute subregion strategy aligned with regional vision, priorities, and OKRs, including high-impact programs such as product ecosystem development, esports publishing development, competitive ecosystem programs and participation, branding and advertising, community engagement, channels sustainable and innovative management, press and media relations. Create focus within your teams: guide them in the priority-setting process, individual expectations setting, eliminate blockers, and facilitate execution. Propose, align and manage Riot's product portfolio budgets within the context of your sub-region and the performance across channels. Recommend budget optimization and build processes to track and control budgets spending and impact. Define and align country based OKRs linked to the main key results expected at a regional level. Set key performance indicators linked to the results expected and track the performance of our publishing efforts. Support your teams gain and maintain a data-informed perspective on their work linked to their individual expectations. Build strong and trustful connections with key internal stakeholders in EMEA and at global level fostering collaboration and cohesion. Establish a network of local partners who share Riot's philosophy of "Player Experience First" and who can help us deliver authentic experiences to our players. Be the public face of Riot in the owned countries being the main responsible in front of local governments and media if needed.
