*Job Description for Licensed Therapist *
Be in alignment with the mission statement and values of Amethyst Center for Healing/My Aunties' House.Be a positive, professional and knowledgeable point of contact for clients, employees and community partners. Promote wellbeing and growth in the office.Be accountable and responsible for your own mental health and wellness through self care, reaching out for support, being aware of yourself and taking steps to rejuvenate when needed to keep yourself sound and without empathy fatigue.Have a working knowledge of the values, mission and goals of Amethyst. Communicate with other Amethyst employees and managers about ideas you have to bring us more in alignment with manifesting our values and complying with best practices in our industry. Identify needs of clients, yourself, and your team that could be benefited through mental health and wellness.Participate in communication and reporting that will help our clients, team, community partners, funding sources, etc. understand our impact in words that meet their frame of reference. Meet with clients and help them to achieve lifestyle adjustments that will improve their quality of life in accordance with your training as a master's level clinician or higher.Seek outside trainings to improve and hone your craft. Expand and share your knowledge of therapeutic interventions available that will bring more abundance to our clients, our team and our community.Create treatment plans that will communicate the plan your client has for how to meet the need they wanted to address in therapy. Assure that these plans are up to date by checking on them every 90 days.Keep written notes of your work with clients and the community to communicate your role to the client, team and other invested entities. These will need to be completed in a timely manner.Solicit feedback, especially negative feedback, from clients, team members and community partners about how you can improve in your role. Assess if this feedback is relevant and then adapt your therapeutic style to meet the needs of your profession. Foster healthy relationships with everyone you meet. Empower those who need uplifting.Ask for help and guidance when needed. Keep up with the rules and regulations for your licensure.Other duties as assigned.
