About Brunswick Job Corps Center
The Brunswick Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

Join Our Team:Become a pivotal part of a dynamic team dedicated to fostering student success at the Brunswick Job Corps Center. As the Counseling and Career Services Manager, you'll lead crucial programs that shape the futures of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Introduction to Career Preparation Program.
Oversee student counseling services and case management.
Ensure student progress, retention, and completion within the Job Corps program.
Uphold confidentiality and integrity of student data.
Supervise and manage the Counseling & Career Preparation Program staff.
What You'll Do:
Adhere to integrity guidelines and procedures, ensuring the accuracy of student data.
Meet or exceed performance goals set by DOL/Company.
Hire, discipline, and evaluate the performance of Career Development Department staff.
Foster a positive Center culture, supporting student personal and career growth.
Engage students in leadership and after-hours programming.
Manage evaluations of student progress and student panels.
Your Role in Community Engagement:
Develop linkages within the community for education and employment support.
Promote a positive image of the Center and Job Corps.
Establish relationships with elected officials and community leaders.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree (including at least 15 semester hours in Social Services-related instruction) from an accredited school required. Masters degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum of two years experience in counseling or related field. Prefer Job Corps or related program experience.
